Hi there! I’m Sarah, but I usually go by Luxrah online. I’m a writer, gamer, mod maker, and content creator. I play a lot of different kinds of games, but I have a particular love for roleplaying games and sandboxes. I love to create content for and about the games that I play. I hope that my experience and expertise can help others get the most out of our shared pastime.
Some of my favorite franchises include Warcraft, The Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, Fallout, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Portal, Valheim, Darkest Dungeon, Don’t Starve, Stardew Valley, Minecraft, Rimworld, and The Sims. I love these games not only for their imaginative storytelling and worldbuilding, but for their vibrant communities as well.
World of Warcraft has been a big part of my life going all the way back to vanilla. I’ve played every retail expansion and all versions of WoW Classic, usually as a healer or caster and often as a guild leader. I can never play just one class for long, but I always come back to my Priest and Paladin.
I’ve spent hundreds of hours in Bethesda games and even more time modding them. My mods for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim have almost five million downloads. I’m a mod user as well, and I’m perpetually installing and reinstalling mods in an effort to make “the perfect game.”
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, Writing, and Film and have studied narratives from classic literature to film and video games. I’m currently the Lead Content Writer for Warcraft Tavern and I have contributed to several other websites, including EIP Gaming, Beyond Hogwarts, and High Ground Gaming.
When I’m not gaming or writing I’m usually watching science fiction, horror, and fantasy. I also like to knit, bake, and dabble in tabletop games.
I live in Pennsylvania with my favorite co-op partner, Dan, and our two kittens, Franklin and Zoey.
